Making the switch to Clean Skincare

Making the switch to Clean Skincare

As you make your own resolutions for the year ahead, we invite you to make the switch to clean skincare. I know this can be very overwhelming and even time consuming but the results in the long run are well worth it and not only better for your skin, but also for the environment.

To help you get started, I created a few tips in making this transition smoothly into using clean skincare products:

1. Information is key- Look for skincare brands that have a transparent ingredient list and use natural and organic ingredients, avoid harmful chemicals like sulfates, parabens, and phthalates. Know your skin type and concerns: Different skin types and concerns require different ingredients, it's important to know what your skin needs before you start trying out new products. Read the ingredient list on product labels and do some research on the ingredients. My personal favorite go-to for all clean skincare products is  Credo Beauty

2. One at a time- Don't try to change everything at once: Gradually incorporate new products into your routine as you run out of them, starting with the ones you use most frequently such as soap and shampoo. This will give your skin time to adjust and allow you to see how your skin reacts to each product.

3. Be Patient- Making the switch to clean skincare can take time, and you may not see immediate results. It's important to be patient and give your skin time to adjust to the new products. Don't be afraid to experiment with different products to find what works best for your skin. Everyone's skin is different, so it may take some trial and error to find the right products for you.

5. Ask- Don't be afraid to ask for help: If you're not sure where to start or have specific skincare concerns, consider consulting with a skincare professional. They can help you create a routine that works for your skin type and concerns.

Don't hesitate to reach out to me, if you have any questions or concerns, I would be happy to help as well.

Take Care,

Bianca
